I enjoy watching my parakeet's funny antics, for example, hanging upside down on its swing and flapping its wings. Another parakeet of mine used to wear the bell on the swing as a hat and look so cute. Another used to try and squeeze through the ladder rungs, but he was too fat to make it through. Even my finches sometimes do funny things. One of my finches will play with its newspaper, tearing it up and putting small pieces into its food bowl. Whenever I remove a piece, he puts another piece in the bowl. It's like he's a kid playing a game. Pet birds are hilarious and can help cheer you up and keep you from being depressed. They can keep you entertained for hours. I also enjoy giving love to my birds and receiving unconditional love from them. Some of my parakeets have enjoyed getting head rubs from me. Some will jump onto the front bars of their cage when I come around. They are so sweet. All pet birds are unique in their own way. I hope you're able to get a Quaker Parakeet. They make great pets.

Since the natural part is to the left, it will take some getting used to for your hair to learn how to stay to the other side.. be patient, maybe use bobby pins to keep it to the right side ? I had to do that for the first week I got side bangs because they kept wanting to go back to the natural part.
