Archive for August, 2010

I went to a three level thrift store / flea market called “Those Were the Days”. Ground level is where I picked up the Clik drive and first set of games, mostly just a random small vendors. Upstairs is where there was basically a small games store and where the second set of games are from. There seemed two main vendors on the upstairs level, “games guy” who helped me get stuff out of the cabinets and another unstaffed with fabrics and formal wear. The basement had more stuff, mostly furniture, and nothing caught my interest there. It is a huge place, and I got vertigo now and then when rounding a corner to a large hallway. Nine games in all, plus the Clik drive. I tested out the Clik drive in my Libretto 100CT, and it worked. I also got a few packages of LED replacement Christmas lights that I didn’t bother showing. Sadly, most of my gaming collection is at my parent’s house, so the only thing I can play on an original console is VTennis.
