Whoa 50 folks? Perhaps a relay race? Potato Sack race? Freeze Tag? Capture the flag on a HUGE scale? Is it in a Gym? Maybe Trivia over a topic of interest to the group?
The only upcoming Pokemon game I know of is Pokemon Heart Gold/ Soul Silver, remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver. It's playable on both the DSi and DS Lite. Every past Pokemon game for the DS can also be played on the DSi. It's pretty much an enhanced version of the DS Lite, not to mention it now supports WPA encryption keys.
Yet, if you are only playing it for the Pokemon games, it will not last long. That is unless you can stick to Pokemon games for years.

I think that the best way to handle this would be to have a set time each night to work on homework. I wouldn't suggest immediately after school….everyone needs time to wind down and kids need to work off all that built up energy.
I would suggest getting home, having a snack, playing or hanging out and then doing the homework. Everyone does homework every night. Turn off the tv, the stereo and telephone and sit at the dining room table. If someone doesn't have homework, they can sit around the table and read or color a picture or practice writing their letters or numbers. The point is that no one is doing something other than work during work time. You don't want them to not bring their homework home or rush thru it at school so they can play while others are doing their homework.
Just be patient and look through the materials and explain it the best way you can. Look on the internet, there are explanations for everything.
Kudos to you…..your siblings and cousins are lucky to have you on their side.
