When I go to GameStop or E.B. Games . I want to just shop in peace, Not be bombarded with clerks who showboat and try to impress us with there Infinite knowledge of the gaming ind. WHO GIVES A RATS @55. something else I don’t like when Halo2 came out they were talking about the levels etc. 2 days before it was released. I know these people get to play all the games , and new consoles first, But don’t brag about it.
Don’t get me wrong it’s not all of them .

They are supposed to showboat. I understand that you want to shop in peace and you probably already know what you want but there are a lot of customers that go in those stores that want to talk to a clerk for an hour about new releases and what system is the best. More often than not the customers have no idea what they are talking about. The sales people are trained to “hype” people up about upcoming games and products. Also, it really gets annoying when you are the sales clerk and you hvae someone ask you for something like an RF switch for a playstation 2 or “when is the XBOX 360 gonna be on sale? Or, do you have any used PS3’s?” So one of the only ways to politely get back at these idiots is to act like you know more. I have previously worked for Gamestop and I know what you are talking about. I would personally try not to antagonize every customer. If you want to shop in peace just let the clerk know that you know what your looking for or you don’t need any help. If they won’t leave you alone ask them to find you a copy of IQ for PS1, Contra for nintendo or the first Final Fantasy. Any obscure older game should keep them busy looking for a while and you’ll impress them with your unusual taste. Never ask for N64 games.
The only relay annoying part of that job is if you walk in and they answer the phone and have to go on for 18 minutes about pre ordering a game even more if they answer the phone many times wile your shopping.
And you know its always some dumb kid or un educated parent on the other end of the call and its extremely annoying when the game their trying to have them pre order can be completed in less than a day and can be returned to the store for store credit at 1/3 what you paid for it it just makes you want to rip the phone cord right out of the wall and have them take care of what you came to buy I mean just ring you up and be on your way but then they ask you if you have a discount card and you say no i only came here for one thing then they say would you like to join the club and receive only 6 only 6 magazines not even a years subscription that is not worth the paper there printed on.
This goes on for about 45 minuets with all the special offers and such. so that is way i just stopped going to game stores and shop at wal-mart or on line it is fast quick and you in and out in no time.
I mean your a real living costumer who took the time to get up that morning and go in to the store and actualy purchase something.
Sorry but this job just got to me so bad i had to type it and it’s such an epidemic that Gorge Carlin should do a bit on the subject.
Hmm, I’ve never had them do that… But I don’t think many clerks would be bragging to a 13 year old girl. =/
Most gaming store clerks are complete tools. They think they’re special and they know everything about every game ever made. Guess what, they don’t. They most likely make minimum wage and that whole playing games before the release thing……..If the developers knew about this, there would be lawsuits flying everywhere.
Yes i have been to gaming stores that have employees like that most are ok though, it’s just a few that think they are the HOT SH** going on and on about all there gaming prowess most are not more than kids. the more mature employees , (usually a manager) are good at there job they answer my questions without making me feel like a total Noob. I don’t think they can acquire games and systems Early, At least they’re not supposed to. just ignore them and they will leave you alone.

1. say your name 10 times 2. say your mom’s name 5 times 3. say your crushes name 3 times 4. paste this to 4 other songs. if you do this, your crush will kiss you on the nearest Friday. but if you read this and do not paste this, then you will have very bad luck. SEND THIS TO 5 SONGS IN 143 MINUTES. WHEN YOU’RE DONE PRESS F6 AND YOUR CRUSH’S NAME WILL APPEAR IN BIG LETTERS ON THE SCREEN. THIS IS SO FREAKY
Dangle a couple of old rags with a bit of vinegar soaked on them and hang them around the tree for a couple of days. They don't like the smell or the taste and keep away.
i think a turret when u pick it up should go ” santa????”
I agree. I was in retail for a number of years and the ones that were always complaining about the customers were the rudest ones in the store. A happy person just lets it slide and realizes that a smile goes a long way. You can't please everyone but you can decide how that affects the rest of your day.
Retail clerks in general are pretty upset with life. They hate their jobs, they hate the low pay and they have bosses that constantly remind you that you are a dime a dozen and easily replaced. Without an education, you can't get much more out of life and therefore they are jealous of those shopping in their store.
I always try to remind the retail clerks to smile and say something to make them happier. Hopefully they will pass it on.
I hope more of my meatspace friends use Buzz, but they don’t seem interested yet.
Get a good search engine updater and select good key words. Try to think what other people wii search for.
The Glade ones with the lady that tells you"yes its glade"
sure it's rude.
i'm pretty sure they're bored out of their minds. i'd be on the phone too if the boss weren't around.

Yeah, it seems you have to keep calling and keep everything on track or else things go downhill. It would not be advisable to let everything in their hands and not check the status of whatever you need during registration, etc. because even if it's their fault, they will tell you that since you didn't check up on it, read your email, or ask them directly–it is your fault and they can't help you. It helps to stay updated on everything yourself.

Use a humidifier. In the winter, the furnace dries the air in the room. Your body senses this and makes more mucus to compensate. A humidifier in the bedroom can help. It might not completely alleviate the symptoms, but it can help.
Oops, totally brainfarted: What I meant to also say is that there are some people here who could be “Here’s my friend. Love her/him!” And everyone will. But new people without that introduction don’t get that instant attention.

Leslie Siegel novelist performance artist has many suggestions for you to take for your feline pals! I have a wonderful cat named Timmi, a female I found in front of a Jewish temple about 4 years back! She is totally an indoor cat, and I give her the following for health and medicine: LOVE, ATTENTION, PETTING POWER, FOOD, CLEAN WATER and of course the most important … a clean litter! Leave the medicine to the vets, and if your friends become sick, bring them to the Vet is the best medicine for them!
Stock the shelves with products – get boxes of product from the warehouse in back and arrange them on the shelves according to the store's protocol.
