So I got the dreaded E 74 error code on my xbox 360 Elite. I have already tried making sure that the system was not overheated, I tried unplugging the cables and checked all of the controllers. Still getting the message, so I know I’ll have to send it in.

I haven’t even had the machine for a year, but I did not buy an extra warranty. The guy at the game store informed me that because I was going with the Elite, my system came with guaranteed warranty, and I don’t remember receiving any papers?

Anyways do they fix my machine or do they send me a new one? I’ve heard that you should remove the hard drive, I don’t even know where it is located. I’m such a noob >__>
