I remember in the first grade I found a gameboy game on the ground at my school. People had probably stept on it and it was full of dirt, but I took it home and it WORKED. How many games now would survive that?
What makes this really impressive is the fact that every single one of these cartridges was at least 20 years old, which means that the plastic had plenty of time to age and weaken.
A DVD/BDROM would have failed every test except the freezer.
