Is there any way i can fool an xbox360 into thinking there is a game disc inserted?

i have a few games stored on my HDD but the disc of the game i want to play is broke so i wondered if i could download a game file from somewhere and burn it to an empty disc so that the xbox thinks the game is inserted and i can then play it from my hard drive,….?

if so what kind of disc do i need i.e CD-R or DVD-R etc… and where to get the game file?
