As in no physical media.
I don’t like the idea of it for four reasons.
1: Why pay 5-50$ for something I can’t do whatever I want with (e.g. loan out,sell,buy used)?
2:I like to have a collection. That means a game I can physically feel.
3:What if my system breaks outside of warranty, like my wii did (I had over 60 USD Worth of VC games),then I’m screwed?
4:Going digital causes some local used game stores to lose money, which damages our economy.
But I do like how the modern systems have it,where can download games or go to a store and buy them.Like CDs.

I totally agree with everything you don’t agree with.
Keeping it how it is will probably have the biggest benefit.
I personally don’t download anything but Wii VC, Wii Ware and PC demos.
I would hate it if video games go digital. Im with you, I like to have a collection. I like to physically have it not just on my computer
yer i like to see my collection growing. i feel like im getting ripped if i buy something digital.
i dunno, i think that both can exist in unison
This is also happening with computer CDs. You spend a lot of money for a computer and if anything goes wrong you either need to have it serviced or you need to contact you computer company to fight them to get restore or permanent discs. This can be done but is very time consuming and can become very expensive. At minimum most will want the shipping fees and only want to send you restore discs you are actually entitle to the program discs that are installed in you computer, you have paid for them. I think this is wrong I paid for the product I should in turn receive the product I paid for not just the computer but everything that is installed in that computer on a disc. I went through a situation many years a go with a very expensive computer that I spent more than 3000 dollars for and had an issue with partitions in the computer not being correctly formatted it cost me 200 dollars to have it shipped back to the company and have it fixed. When I received it back it did not have the same programs on it and was actually a better program set up but I still was having issues with partitions and was told I needed to wipe my computer. at this point I had some discs but not everything that was installed on the computer because when they had it they installed a different set of programs. So do you lose the programs or fight the company to send you something you did not originally have.
While I do like downloading smaller games (XBL Arcade), I definitely don’t want to see all games being only downloadable. What about the gamers out there who can’t or choose not to play online? There are still parts of the country where broadband isn’t accessible. All the points you made were valid too. 1 and 2 I agree with most.
